4th Dynasty - Braganza
The Braganza Dynasty (or Brigantina) was the fourth and last dynasty of Portuguese kings and queens, which reigned in Portugal between 1640 and 1910, being called the Braganza dynasty the period in which the House of Braganza became the Portuguese Royal House, and, therefore, sovereign of the kingdom of Portugal and the Portuguese overseas empire. It was also the reigning dynasty in the United Kingdom of Portugal, Brazil and the Algarves (1815-1822), and ruling in the Empire of Brazil (1822-1889).

Republic (1910-2002)
The establishment of the Portuguese Republic was the result of a revolution organized by the Portuguese Republican Party, which began on October 2 and was victorious in the early hours of October 5, 1910, which overthrew the constitutional monarchy and established a republican regime in Portugal.
